I'm completely new to cell phones, but I'm looking to get one. I've had my eye on the LG VX4400 with Verizon because everyone I know has VZW and and they seem to have the best service in my area. I was wondering if the phone prices are going to change on June 2nd also. Since I'm a new customer, it looks like I'll have to sign up for a two year contract (to waiver the activation) and pay $100 + taxes for the phone... So should I go before or after June 2nd for the best phone prices or will they stay unchanged? Is there any way for me to get the VX4400 for free even though I'm a new customer??? I'm very cheap, and that's why I haven't bought a cell phone yet. My max monthly plan will be $40. I'd appreciate any recommendations. Thanks everyone, this site is already very helpful! ---Looking for handouts--- (Or Hand-ups) |

Slo = San Luis Obispo? Yea, Verizon's getting new pricing. You can call Verizon Cust. Service now and ask them about it. You can also check http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...hreadid=144063 |

Yeah, SLO=San Luis Obispo. Verizon des seem to have the best coverage in this area. I've been reading all the posts about the vx6000 maybe coming out this month. I noticed that the mail in rebate for the phones ends June 15th. Does anyone know details for the pricing of new/existing phones? Also, since I'm going to get a phone soon, will is be better to wait for the vx6000, or just get the vx4400? |
