Default #BAL and #MIN in SOCAL VZW

Seems that #BAL and #MIN are now working in Southern California. Apparently tomorrow vzw.com will show a new online account management system as well.

I noticed this as well. I get text messages now instead having to just listen to my minutes used. The login page for VZserve looks different but account management looks the same.

Do they charge you for a text message if it comes from them for this feature? I have not tried it yet. Took so long for them to roll it out here I forgot.

I use it often too, it's a cool feature, and free! For some reason #646(min) is usually a day or two behind, when it is usually accurate within a few hours. I tried #BAL and it works better for some reason right now lol.

Am I the only who gets a message in CA when I call #MIN that says, #MIN has been replaced with *MIN? I'm roaming from a different state and have #MIN programmed into speed dial, but get the intercept as soon as I cross into NV. Go home and #MIN works again.
