AT&T GSM Coverage in New Mexico

Does anyone know if Att will expand GSM coverage in the near future in the rest of New Mexico?
(please don't reply if you can't answer the question directly, I don't care about any other service)

We in this forum only know about these things from personal experience. My experience with AT&T has been that they don't care about NM. They built a few sites around ABQ and eventually SF, and that was it for their TDMA network. The rest of their coverage was supplied with analog roaming agreements.

If I were going to spend time there, I would not have confidence that AT&T cares about serving NM. I'm not trying to be bitter here, AT&T created what I think was the absolute smallest coverage area of their entire network there. No one in their right mind would consider their (TDMA) service as even half as good as any of the other carriers, and in a tie with Cricket for dead last.

They just might treat the area differently with GSM, but they have already sullied their reputation as a legitimate carrier in the state.
