Default *SICK* of comparing plans!

I'm so sick of comparing rate plans! There's always some twist or hidden charge or *something* that irks me.

I rarely use my phone now that I'm unemployed, so I'm trying to find a plan that will just charge me per minute, with no monthly base fee and no need to buy cards or use up minutes or fear of my phone being locked.

*IS* there such a plan?

The only thing that sounds close will be to get a pre-paid phone and set it up for auto replenishment with your credit card. That way when your balance is low it will automatically add more minutes.

Open,
Yes there are some online companies that offer "pay as you go" plans, but you don't save much unless you make very few calls. We listed some of the bargain basement carriers at:
Our choice of Carriers in paragraph #2.

Consumer Cellular offers the best non-pre-paid deal, and you could use an existing AT&T phone. If you need to buy a new one, their rate is cheap.
