Just out of curiousity does anyone know what the PRL is for Hawaii? It's not the same as the states is it? And i am assuming that each island would have the same PRL right being that it's all within the state of hawaii? Thanks all!

If you are on Americas Choice or a National plan it should be the same everywhere, if you are on a local I believe it will be different.

Princess, The PRL is the same across the country. The difference among PRL numbers is the behavior of the roaming indicator. Most Verizon customers west of Kansas, including Hawaii, either have the current Default PRL (50072), The America's Choice PRL (50073 or 50074/ERI), or the Western regional PRL (42007). All three access the same roaming partners. All three will give you no Roaming indicator in Hawaii, unless for some reason a cell site breaks and you start roaming on Sprint PCS. The list of current PRL numbers is available at: PRL Page -Bill |
