Default Keeping your cell phone number

Hello,

I would like to change carriers to one hasn't shagged me as badly as Sprint
has. Is there any way I can keep my cell phone number? I heard there were
some attempts at making this a possibility in some states.

Thank you

Wireless Local Number Portability is not currently available. Carriers, while fighting in the courts, are getting ready for the change as they have to offer the service (I think beginning in the top 100 markets) by November 24, 2003.

As Matt said, the wireless companies (many of them anyways) are trying to fight Wireless Number Portability. However, T-Mobile has said that they support it.
Some basic info about it can be found on one of my websites MichaelHCox.us.
