OK guys, want to know if my way of thinking is right after all this thinking lol. I have been with Edge for the past 3 years and Have liked them but things hear in Idaho are changeing. In June I tried the GSM for a week and went back to tdma. Now wear I go the tdma is going down hill and it will be quite a while before they have all the towers up to get GSM really going hear. USCC already has all the towers in this area and they changed to cdma and I can use analog when I need to. You guys are smarter than I am give me your ops. Thanks in advance. |

I would look at where you need coverage/price per minuets. If it is just Idaho Twin Falls/Idaho Falls area you will ever use your phone, then USCC is a good choice. If you need more regional coverage like coming down to Logan, UT or Boise, ID once in awhile then Edge might be better choice. If you need more national coverage like going outside of Edge 10 state area every now, and then Verizon is the best choice. Ok so there is my opinion. most CDMA phones have analog and being where you are that usally is a good thing! Glad to hear the base stations are now CDMA for USCC! |

Yes, I spend all of my time between Blackfoot and Island Park, Salmon and Challis. USCC is in good shape in that area. I do spend a little time in Salt Lake at the VA hospital and was hoping USCC had roaming aggrements with Verizon. If Verizon uses USCC towers now up hear that will extend their coverage a bunch. I also like the 1100 minutes for $40.00 with USCC. | |

Actually, it dpends Andy, in still TDMA areas like here in Northern California and Idaho, USCC roams mostly on AT&T, Cell One and other close TDMA carriers.
