Never go by the bars on your phone. As long as you can make calls without problems you will be fine. If you are nurvious about coverage, get the F&C America add-on. The best way to determine signal strength is using the hidden service menu with the phone. I am not sure if the Nokias menus are accessable though. If not get a hold of a Samsung or Sanyo phone, then you will be able to see the signal strength in dB. But it sounds like Sprint is pretty good in your area.

Hey Dru, I fully remember your great advice and I am following it. I have even used a condensed version of your advice for AmyLR in this thread. Once again, thank you.

Nokia 3360 earbud is NOT COMPATIBLE with the jack on the 3589i/3588i. The CDMA and GSM/TDMA handsets use diferent standards of earbud for some reason. 1 uses a 2.5mm jack, the other uses a 3mm jack. Getting the 6225 won't help that. | |

That's the odd thing - the phone came with no earbud AT ALL. I wonder if the Radio Shack salesman forgot to include one... Actually, I just looked at the side of the box where it says "This box includes:..." and no earbud (or whatever the official name is) is listed. That would also explain why the salesman asked me if I needed an earbud when I bought the phone. I was using the Cellitude CLHF-2 with my 3360 and the package for that has a sticker that says "NKI 33XX" so that apparently lets Nokia off the hook. It does not, however, let the Sprint Tech Rep off the hook for not knowing that an earbud that is designed for Nokia 33xx phones won't work on their 35xx phones. |

Sprint/Verizon phones almost never come with an earbudd (greedy moneygrubbers). And the Tech realy should have know that.
