Hi everyone. I'm a newbie here with a quick question for y'all. I just purchased a Treo 650 and have service with Sprint. The phone was brand new, but the packaging didn't have the software CD. Does anyone know where I can get one of these CD's? I've searched all over, but can't seem to find any place that has copies.

I don't know of a place to get a copy. Was the CD just missing ? If so, I'd go back to where you bought it and ask them for one. I'm sure someone can burn a copy for you . Try posting on www.treocentral.com forums as well.

I bought the phone from a private party. The phone is brand new, but the packaging was opened. I didn't realize that the CD was missing until I got home

You can download the Palm Desktop software from Palmone. I've done it for my Treo 180.

Unfortunately the CD also includes many software add ons for the phone- some full version, some trial.
