If you want to know what "virtual" operator (MVNO) uses what physical network: http://www.mvnolist.com/ Now it's only for the USA, but more countries will be added later. |

Thought I would let you know, Helio uses Sprint. Also Tracfone is both GSM and CDMA depending on the area. There is another called Simple Freedom that is an MVNO of Alltel using CDMA too.

| Well they use a couple different networks. There Net10 phones use T-Mobile and Cingular, it depends what area the customer is in. The same for the gsm tracfones. The CDMA phones use Verizon and Alltel, depending on the make of the phone and region the customer is in.

Nice list, but just thought I'd fill you in on a couple of things. Boost Mobile uses "iDen" technology and their website is www.boostmobile.com. Embarq's website is www.embarq.com.

Does anyone know about MVNO's being allowed to use several different networks? I mean, I guess they can, but "normally" I see MVNO's having agreements with only one physical network operator. I guess they can have agreements with several, but one network has to be it's "home" network, and the others roaming partners then. ...and thanks for the info about Embraq and Boost. The site is updated now | |
