friend SHACK has over 1,000 active members. We've just launched our mobile WAP 2.0 site and looking for "volunteers" to try it out. Respond with feedback here or at temp@friendshack.com. Looking for specifically:

- how was the sign up process?
- if there were any technical issues which you encountered
- if the experience was positive

I have a suggestion for you. Have more than 4 sentences on your website describing what your service does, and how it works. Maybe a few sample screenshots of what I may expect to see too? I'm not exactly sure what your service is and how I may use it. I will definitely not sign up for something as vague as this.

Ok, thanks Jay for the suggestion. In trying to keep it effecient for mobile users I have purposely kept the content light but obviously too light. Would the appropriate place to put additional information about the site be in the "About" section? I would hate to add any more to the index page as it is already at 5kb.

Yes indeed. It sounds like you're running a computer dating service, but I don't think that's what's going on. I'm guessing you're doing something like facebook or myspace??

I've made some improvements to our WAP site thanks to your suggestions. Now more information on the index page. I've also included the ability now to browse our membership so potential visitors can see the type of people we have and their interests. Take a look and let me know what you think.
