Default Verizon Call Forwarding

Is it possible to forward calls from your Verizon cell phone to another line outside of the USA? If so, what are the charges one can expect to pay on both ends - the forwarding and the receiving? Thanks in advance.

Well if you forward a call to a country outside the U.S. I'm sure you'd have to pay the charge for the call(say the 20 cents to call canada), plus airtime I guess.
Hope this helps.

Assuming it's possible (I don't see why it wouldn't be, if you have international dialling enabled on your phone):

1. VZW Call forwarding charges, if any on your plan -- 10c/minute? Not sure.

2. International long distance on your Verizon phone. Most countries are $1.49 a minute, though some are more expensive (Madagascar is $3.50 a minute) and some are cheaper (Mexico and Canada are $0.49 a minute). You can sign up for a plan where you pay $3.99 a month and get much cheaper international rates for common countries (western Europe, Canada, etc.).

3. Airtime (minutes) on your VZW phone.

4. Incoming rates or airtime on the international (receiving) number -- varies, ask that carrier. Most European cell phones have free incoming minutes.

Yes, it only works in certain areas. It might be a differnent code in your area, but I wouldn't start playing around trying to find the code, otherwise you might mess something up with your account
