Default I've got a question regarding my upgrade eligibility.

Ok. So I currently have the Dare. I really want the Droid though, My NE2 is up in June 2010. So I was just goofing off today and I thought I could get a smaller one year upgrade discount and figured I'd click the upgrade my phone link on MyVerizon just to see what a Droid would run me. On the page though it says I'm eligible for the Droid for 199. I clicked it and went as far as the final breakdown on price and it still said it'd be 199. I can't think that it's right because even on the upgrade screen it says eligible June 2010. But I don't think they'd quote me the wrong price that far into the purchase phase. Can someone help me? I've attached a picture of my upgrade page.

This is an interesting one. I checked the prices for me, with my NE2 upgrade date being November 25th, and they all show full price, no discount.

Now there could be a glitch in the system, but if it allows you to purchase the phone at the discounted price, go for it. You won't get your NE2, but you'll still save.

Your only other choice is to call customer service and look into why it's showing what it is, but you might lose the discount pricing.

Ok. Thanks. I'll try it. I have a family plan though and I was wondering if upgrading now would affect them in anyway. Like would that prevent them from upgrading in June? Also I'm the main line but they have the Nationwide Premium but with the Droid the most I can have is Select. Is there anyway to leave them on premium. Even if it involves taking my line off the main line? Is that even possible?

Upgrade eligibility is on a per-line basis. If under your part of the family plan you are making the change, then it only affects your account. I don't have the Family plan, so I can't help you with the billing complexities around making changes like this. You might have to call CS about this.
