Extending signal with enV2

I have an enV2 and moved to a fringe area. If I stand outside I get a bar or so and can make calls and rarely get disconnected. Inside however is a different story.. I often loose calls or miss parts of the convo.

So, I planned to get an external antenna but much to my chagrin, I popped all the rubbers off the back and they cover screws... not an external antenna port like I thought one would.

I don't have broadband (at least not yet)... so the Verizon broadband solution isn't gonna cut it right now.

I did some searching and it looks like I can get an antenna an a repeater (I think) but all the links in the old thread were dead.

I only need a bar or two... can someone point me to the cheapest solution.
