It's sad what's happened to old Audiovox (of which UTStarcom and PCD are descended from). Their phones seem to get worse and there's so few of them at that...

No, I don't think folks on Cricket or Metro would touch that thing with a 10 foot pole unless it's priced between $50 & $70!!!

Alright then down the road when they are lower in price. Honestly the only times I see these phones are Cricket Subs.

That article says it does: 1800/1900 MHz 1xRTT.

That can't be accurate, right? The majority of Verizon's 1xRTT network is 850 MHz unless I'm mistaken.

I agree with you guys in that the phone is not all that appealing even to a non-phone geek.

I think that is a typo... VZW's nerwork is 850/1900 1X overlaid with EVDO
