Default Changing plan, some questions.

We are alltel customers who were bought by verizon. Our plan is still an alltell plan. We have 1200min right now and 11 my circle numbers.

If we lower the plan today to 500 min will it begin immediately or the next month?
If we go with the 500min plan do we get any my circle numbers? Or friends and fam.

The 11numbers we have on our list now make it where we are only using about 200 mins. Its rediculous to pay for so many and useso little.

Thanks

1. VZW considers this a "downgrade" of your minutes and will make it take effect the start of your next cycle. There is no negotiating on that; it is systematically enforced by the billing system.

2. The NF500 plan will give you ONE F&F number. If you decided to move back to your current plan you would get 10. You would lose your one bonus number you have forever.

Ah well thanks. We can't switch then. One number would not cut it for us. I wish there was a 700 minute plan. That would work perfectly. We called them and they said there wasn't.

Bryan, question for you: Is what you're talking about (on your second point) for migrated Alltel customers only?

Yes. Prior Alltel customers can still continue to switch to other migrated Alltel plans. Those plans are not open to Heritage VZW customers, only Alltel. And the Alltel family of plans have the same rules they had while with Alltel. As I have told most customers, the only thing that changed when you were migrated to the VZW Billing System (VISION) is the name on the bill, nothing else.

BTW, there is a 750 minute NF plan with 5 F&F numbers; it's $49.99/month primary line with share lines running $20/month. It saves no money for a family plan to move to that unless they have LOTS of share lines and/or on a plan of 99.99/month on primary.....
