My wife and I have been sharing 700 minutes per month for two cellphone lines since November, 2008. Now we have to move to Canada by the end of this month. Can we continue using the same service in Canada also ?. If not, do we need to break the contract of service and pay some penalty for doing so?. Does anybody have an answer for my questions?. Please. I would greatly appreciate your response.

Verizon Wireless doesn't operate in Canada, although it has a plan or feature that lowers the cost of roaming there. If you aren't commuting across the border often enough to still need domestic USA coverage, you might explore ending, or transferring, your plans to someone staying in the USA

No, you should not have to pay an early termination fee as you are moving out of Verizon's service area.

In Canada, Rogers/Fido, Telus Mobility, Bell, Wind, along with a number of prepaid and smaller carriers are your mobile choices in Canada.
