Help !

Hello,

Ive always had verizon, it is the only cell phone company ive had but ive recently went into a problem with it. I had the same beater phone for 2 years until my aunt had a phone she purchased last year that she stopped using, Samsung SCH u740. It works and everything is fine, but i cannot pick up ANY service.. it only work when im in ONE part of town, in North Charleston..She got the phone in Las Vegas where she stays.
I went to Verizon and they reset and re programmed the phone but nothing..

Im not a cell phone tech type of person..But is it only trying to use one tower??? 127/65535? is the home sid nid..not sure if this helps

Did you have service problems with the previous phone? Are the neighbors having problems with their service. SID 127 is probably the system Verizon is using in your area... but the phone should be able to pick up any Verizon Wireless tower that is within reach of your phone. Other networks may or may not be available for you to roam on.
