No. Although they are technically one company, they still operate as two separate entities.

If you are in the acquired territory, you will keep your Alltel lines until Verizon forces a switch or until you choose to switch over. There is no such thing as cross-carrier accounts or billing. It doesn't work that way.

If you are in a divested area, there is no link between that "Alltel" and "Verizon/Alltel". AT&T has acquired a majority of the divestitures, with US Cellular getting the rest. Either way, you would eventually be converted to either AT&T or US Cellular.

So what you're asking is not possible regardless of what part of Alltel you are.

Edit: Since you are from Montana, your area is likely being acquired by AT&T, which means your "Alltel" account is in NO way related to Verizon anymore.
