Keep in mind if you do change to Verizon, they do not use SIM cards like T-Mobile phones do. You won't be able to use your current T-Mobile phone with Verizon as they use incompatible network technologies (Verizon uses CDMA, T-Mobile uses GSM).

Verizon's network is really strong in NYC, but for the most part, so are the others. Their prices are relatively more expensive than T-Mobile's, but if you know a lot of people on Verizon, mobile to mobile (which is automatic on any VZ plan) can make a lot of difference.

Verizon has a large, decent selection of phones. But some features don't work the same as they do on T-Mobile.

Other than that, if Verizon works better for your needs than T-Mobile, then go for it.

If you mean using your T Mobile phone on Verizon's network, it can not be done. Different technologies.
