I am up for the new every 2 deal with Verizon. I have been looking at these two touch screen phones. So I wanted some advice on the phones and plans available for them. Currently have LG 8600 These are items I am looking to use the phone for, so let me know your opinion. 1. First and foremost it will be used as a primary phone 2. Not a huge text messager but will get/send about 50-75 a week 3. Rarely use for music but will have available if needed 4. Camera will be used minimal 5. Want to receive emails on phone from verizon email account. 6. Occasional viewing of pdf, office, excel, ppt files 7. Want access to internet 8. will be getting a 900 minute plan, I see there are different plans for these 2 phones, one premium for Dare (assuming this comes with everything I need for email/Internet?) and the data/voice plan for XV6900 Thanks for any advice!! the biggest issue you are going to have with the dare is that you won' t be able to just open up office documents on it. It will be a lot easier if you have the 6900 to do those sorts of things. The Dare is pretty much designed to compete with the IPhone. You will easily be able to do email on either one of them...though it depends on what exent you want to do it. The 6900 is going to be a "push " device which means you will deff want to get an unlimited data plan on it. This is due to the fact that it is an "always on" device...so it is "always on " the network ...looking for data. If you want to send responses to the emails on the phones you are going to have a very small keyboard which you will need to use the stylus for. On the dare you will type on the screen with your fingers, which I have found works so much better than trying to type on an IPhone. |
