Samsung I760 Questions

I was considering purchasing this from ebay for my Samsung I760. It is those hard plastic face plates that fit on the front and back of the phone. Here is the link to the case.

I purchased a cradle for my phone. Does anyone know if I can sync my phone on this cradle with this plastic case on and not have to take it off? Taking these plastic cases off is fairly hard as they snap on pretty tight. This is a link to one of the plastic cases.

Also if you have the faceplate can the extended battery be used with the face plate?

Another question I have is regarding using my Samsung as a MP3 player. I want to get a wired headset or earbuds for my phone. I've seen some that have a button in the middle of the cord to connect and disconnect the phone. Any suggestions on some good ones? Also how do you answer the phone with these? I mean it looks like I would have to pull it out of the case and answer it as normal. But I saw somewhere that you can get some that has a built in mic. Sorry I'm a newbie to all this and just don't know about pda/phones as a mp3 player.
