Question Mobile Web 2.0 Question

I am new to this and have no idea what all Mobile Web 2.0 can do except check email, which I don't really need. Other then email what all can you do with it? Is it really worth getting and what is the pricing really like? What is the best pricing plan?

Thanks, James

Well, I'll tell you what I did with Mobil Web 2.0: last night while sitting in the dark because thunderstorms had knocked the electricity out I decided to look up the number for a coffee shop to see if they were open. I put Find a Person or Business with our free online White Pages and Yellow Pages in the URL and put the name and the ZIP code of the coffee shop in 411.com which promptly went to it's entry, then at the highlighted listed phone number it asked if I wanted to call it. So I clicked thru and the phone dialed in the normal way, I talked to the people, ended the call, and was back on the 411 page for the coffee shop.

Is that handy or what? I had no idea.

I just looked at my bill and I only get charged $5.00/ month. If there are other plans I've no information.

So I guess you can pretty much surf the net with Mobil Web 2.0.

I've had mobile web. Only time i really used it was for movie showtimes and the weather.

Since you can't tether your phone to a laptop/PDA, I find the wireless phone browser limiting.

I'm test driving the LG Dare and finding MW2.0 works much better with a phone that has an actual HTML browser. I check email, watch youtube videos, actually read many standard HTML pages.
