Ive been having this weird problem, sometimes when someone tries to call me my phone wont ring and all I will hear is the alert sound that someone left a voice mail,

reception has nothing to do with it as it happens when I have full signal, and a few times I give a friend my number and they call it, it just rings and rings and goes to my voice mail and the phones are right next to eachother.

I need to figure out how to fix this, mainly because of my job, im on call 24/7 and its kind of annoying when the company I work for keeps trying to call me and my phone isnt ringing.

any help would be greatly apreciated!

EDIT: should probably mention its an LG8600

This happened to me before for about 2 weeks, but then i found out that i had my volume off lol

But i try googleing it and nothing came up. I am sure someone else can help you sorry. But welcome to wireless advisor!

If you're not seeing any kind of indication that the call is coming through on the phone, it sounds like it might be a network issue (of which signal quality has nothing to do with). You might want to contact Verizon tech support to find out what might really be the problem.

If it's happening on all of your calls, you may have inadvertently turned off your incoming calls.

Since VZW uses the same menu on most of their phones, this should work for you:

Menu...Settings & Tools...Call Settings...Call Restrictions...Incoming.
