Default Buying a new phone

OK heres my problem, i went into Verizon to check out some phones and when i went to buy one they said i am not eligible to upgrade but the website says a Verizon customer can upgrade at anytime if they want to upgrade but pay full retail price.. my phone is so beat up that i NEED to buy a new one and i want just a cheap one i dont need a hardcore fancy one. so my question is if i buy a phone from verizonwireless.com will i be wasting my money or will i be able to activate it?

Thanks

Kevin

You can buy the phone from the website and pay the full retail pricing on it if you wish. Verizon will be able to activate it with no problem.

The reps at the store meant that you aren't able to get promotional pricing on a phone... They should have allowed you to pay full retail price at the store if you wanted to buy another phone that bad.

Yeah go back to the store and tell them you want to buy one a retail price because you cant upgrade yet. Also another thing to try is to call up and see if there is anything they can do for you. BTW what phone do you want to buy?
