I was ready to jump from my Palm Treo to a BB 8130, when I thought of a potential problem: My current VZW data plan (about $20/mo) gives me 10MB/mo of data. Of this, I use less than 200K because (a) I only check email on my Treo about 2x per week (b) I have it set to download only subject lines (c) I only read messages that look important (d) I almost never use mobile web. I know that BIS will cost me an extra $25/mo, but what can I expect with my data plan? Will usage go up slightly, or so much that I might exceed my 10MB limit? |

The normal Blackberry data plan is $29.99 and your data usage will be limited to 5GB per month, so you will be fine with push email and web browsing!

If you get the Blackberry Data Plan you won't have to worry about exceeding the data cap unless your usage changes dramatically. Just out of curiosity, does Sprint have decent coverage in your area? If you pick up the BB Pearl with a SERO plan and the Blackberry package it will come out much cheaper. It might be worth looking into if Sprint is as option where you live. |

yeah cuz the SERO already includes unlimited data.....but you do have to get the Blackberry data plan.........even so it still only comes out to $60 versus $70
