Hello, first off I would like to say that I've been having this problem since last night and I'm not sure if it's because of the area that I'm in because I only get 1-2 bars in my house. This problem only seems to happen when I try to text my friend who is another Verizon Wireless user but it gets sent to other people fine. Whenever I try to send my friend a text this text comes back to me saying: "Message to (xxx)xxx-xxxx failed: Network problem. So does anyone know what the problem could be? Thank you and I look forward to your responses. I haven't tried texting outside of my house where I would get more bars but I'll try it later.

Scratch that no I haven't done that. I've had my phone for a few weeks now and it's been fine with the texting and everything else but it just started doing this last night.

Does your friend have problems with other people texting him or just you?

I have no idea because I can't contact her and when I try to call her and leave a voicemail I get that same Network Problem message too. Is this a new bug or something that just came out recently? I just got a text from her but when I tried to send one back it wouldn't send it and it said the message failed and I'm not sure if she has been trying to text me too or not.

It may be new, or it may be something off in the network. Have you tried going to the Verizon website and using the vtext.com messaging center? Register your account so you can also see her replies on the web to determine if the problem is network related and/specific to her account. |
