Verizon Wireless to T-Mobile Call Forwarding Problem... Help Please!

Hello everyone,

I've been having trouble forwarding calls from my verizon wirelss cell to a t-mobile cell, and I was hoping someone might be able to help.

The forwarding actually seems to work, just not how I want it to. I've tried both *71 and *72 followed by the number I want to forward to. In both cases the call does actually get forwarded, but it always goes straight to my t-mobile voicemail.

In other words, I want the t-mobile phone to ring when someone calls my verizon wireless number, but all I can get to happen is for my t-mobile voicemail to pick up.

I think this is a carrier side issue, so I doubt my hardware is the problem, but in case it is, I have a Treo 700P on the Verizon account and a Blackberry 8320 on the t-mobile account.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I've forwarded my VZW calls to a TMobile phone and the TMobile phone rings. Have you checked the settings in the TMobile phone, like the forwarding settings, caller id, etc I know that if the reception on my TMo phone is too low, the phone will not ring... I am using the Nokia 6010 on prepaid, so features and functionality are different.

What happens when you call the TMo phone directly? What happens when you forward the VZW call to another phone?
