Is there any way to recover or reset the voice mail password?

You can call 611 and listen for the prompts for Voicemail. There should be an option in the automated menu to reset the password.

Yes, that is exactly right. It is an automated system that will reset your password once you enter some personal information so they can verify that it is you. You can also do it online through My Account.
