Default Family requesting to opt out of their Contract

My family has Verizon and they've moved to a new neighborhood, Murphy Creek subdivision in Colorado. Apparently, they can't seem to get good service in that area, I was there the other day and you'd be lucky if you were on the line for about 5 minutes. Will Verizon allow them to opt out of their contract without any early out fees? If they can't get stable service, then what's the point?

I would suggest that you have the primary user on the account call up Verizon's customer care dept. at 1-800-922-0204, and choose option #4 for other options, next choose option #2 to cancel service, this will get you through to one of Verizon's resolution specialists who can review the account as well as check the coverage in that area.....If he/she does find that there is no coverage in that area they will determine whether or not the ETF would be warrented.... In order to get the ETF waived, they may require that your family provide 3 proofs of residency change first.

I would suggest you put in a couple of trouble tickets to see if they can resolve your problem first. If they can't then you have some leverage to get them to waive ETF. Just my opinion.
