Is it possible to get the sidekick on a verizon plan if it is already unlocked?

sidekicks are only made in GSM models............Verizon is CDMA.........and the technologies are incompatible.........if you dont already know.........the way you can tell the difference between GSM and CDMA is that GSM uses SIM cards.........here in the U.S. anyway.........there isnt a single CDMA carrier in this country that uses SIM chips

If you like TMobile's SK and want something that would be comparable to it on Verizon's network, then I would suggest that you look at the LG enV.... The enV is a smaller device packed with more features, as well as a better camera. I've been using it for over a month now. It gets great reception, very easy to text on, and the pictures always turn out great.
You can compare these two handsets side by side here. Compare Phones (Phone Scoop)

I was surprised by the reception on the enV as well, considering that it doesn't have an external antenna like all of my other handsets do.... I am still finding that my E815 does get a better signal in my house, however so far I have never been without at least one bar here, and that is all I need to make and receive calls.

Hey Day5InJanuary, What software Version does your enV have? Mine still has V01, but I heard that the reception had improved more in poor areas for owners who upgraded their S/W to V02.

So far my enV is working perfectly for me, so I might wait until the next S/W Ver. is released to do an upgrade.

Even on at&t the Sidekick is mostly useless. Like a BB, which use the BB server for data, Sidekicks also use the Danger server data, and, therefore, the Sidekick on at&t would be mostly a voice-only device.
