Verizon has better coverage than most of the others and their coverage is only comparable to Sprint's........they have a very large customer base and its very close to Cingulars........like i said in your Cingular post.........stick with Motos..........not to sure about Nokias on Verizon but ive heard that the LGs on Verizon do very well

The motos are good, and from my experience the LG's are too.

As far as phones go, LGs and Motorolas are decent for reception. I gave my mom the Moto V325 and the thing works well despite the broken antenna. I have the Samsung SCH A930 and the phone gets great reception; I'm happy with it. The Moto V325i ranges between $30 and $70 (for new 2 year activations) depending on the promotion. The RAZR and Samsung A930 are usually $50 each for new 2 year activations. Also, VZW tends to be heavyhanded on their equipment and services (i.e. less bluetooth functionality, no data roaming on PHONES*) I dont have any experiences on the data side of service besides messaging and mobile web; if you stray off the VZW network (unlikely for most folks), only TXT messaging and voice (MMS, mobile web not available) are available if you are using a PHONE*. *PHONE = most devices that that are not PDA, BlackBerry, or data/internet card
