Hi, I need some people to really help me out with this one. I would really appreciate it. I need to know something about one of the features. I know the verizon razr has an ALL calls option(well my one friend has the razr and she says it doesnt but maybe she has a different provider?). My phone has an all calls option as well.(I don't have the razr.) And what the all calls shows is all calls dialed, received, missed. Looking at my phone(it seems a call doesnt get overwrited unless i call it again. So lets say i call a certain number this past tuesday. It remains in my all calls log until i dial it again and then it shows the last call to that person made and not the one from tuesday. And it seems the all calls holds a lot. I tried to see if it would start overwriting the calls after 100 but it seems it will only overwrite numbers i dial again. I need to know something about the razr(to help me decide if someone has lied to me so i really need anyone's advice). In the all calls option of the razr--does this work the same? or do certain calls get overwrited b/c it can only hold so many(i'm not talking about the dialed calls--the All calls part) In my b/f's razr phone..in the all calls option--he makes a lot of calls at work. When i looked at it thursday...the calls from monday were gone. Does this just mean he must have dialed those same exact numbers again somtime in the middle of the week and they get overwrited..or do they get overwrited b/c there isnt enough room to hold them? And when i looked at it saturday..calls from thursday were gone. So i was just wondering if my phone differs from his or if i am being lied to about something.. Either he calls the exact same numbers--friends, co workers and it gets overwrited or the phone just simply overwrites after a certain number. PLEASE HELP. Greatly appreciated |

i know my RAZR has an All Calls feature but i have Sprint and they do a software overlay on all of their phones for the Web and Picture Mail i would say that if the RAZR is like all the other MOTOs then it doesnt and i think that it would be like all of its other cousins |

Who really cares about the phone? Obviously there are some trust issues going on. The question is can you be trusted. It sounds like you are spyig on him by going thru his phone call history. Do you read his emails too? Instread of trying to snoop around his phone, it sounds like you need to talk to your b/f about the trust issues. Anyway, if he is deleting his call history, then he already knows you are going thru his phone and he doesnt trust you. Plus, you will feel pretty bad if you find out later he was planning something special for you and was trying to keep that secret. Just something to think about. |

The calls could be either overwritten from making the same calls on another day or if he does make that many calls, he would push out the calls that were made on monday, since there is a limit on how many calls are listed (100) So basically it could be from either senario. |

a standard RAZR that is offered by T-Mobile and Cingular does not have All Calls feature..........Sprint has it on their RAZRs because Sprint changes their software.........im not sure about Verizon phones or ALLTEL because i dont know if ALLTEL changes their software.....

I know when calls hit the 10 mark and someone new calls or I call them, the last number stored gets changed to the most recent, unless they are in the list already. All carriers do something to the software on the phones they get, but it does seem Verizon & Sprint do more then Cingular & T-Mobile on changing the GUI.

exactly.............if you have a recent calls list........you call someone...........then you call 5 other people.............then you call the 1st person back and their number disappears from #6 on the list..........he's wondering if the RAZR has a feature where all the calls made to one number stay on the list no matter how many times you call them

I thought I answered her on this, but maybe I am wrong. Yes if you keep calling the same Number it will stay on the list, and any numbers not called will get pushed off as new numbers are called.

but rather than having the number on it only once........the SPrint phones have all calls so that it is listed for each separate time it was called

I got you, My phone doesn't do that, each time someone calls that is on the list, it gets moved to the 1st position with the last time they called. The same goes with Dialed calls.
