I've seen the demo video's for it as well as played with one for a few minutes, since nobody else has posted I'll share what I experienced. The demo shows a guy throwing the phone a good 30 feet, the battery door busted off and battery fell out, he put the battery back in, door back on, turned the phone on and made a call.

From what I saw this is a decent media phone, not quite up to par with the major media phones like the Krzr and the likes, but if you're buying this phone then it's not for the media useage anyways. Call's may be a little muffled but overall you should be good. This phone is also Water Resistant, I hesistate to call it waterproof but it seems to do good for quick excursions into water, such as falling into a stream or something of the like, I would be weary wearing it while swimming though.
