Images: 36 | Wirelessly posted (Q's Mobile Device: Opera/8.01 (J2ME/MIDP; Opera Mini/3.0.5849/1430; en; U; ssr)) I don't since I'm trying 2 keep the bill down. When I upgraded in July, the rep did the phonebook exchange for free. For now, i'll just take the chance by not backing up the phonebook.

I use it, it's only $1.99 a month. I think backup assistant is well worth it since I have a lot of contacts and in case something happens to my phone do not want to lose them all.

I also use Backup Assistant and I think it's worth the $1.99/month to have peace of mind knowing that my contact list is backed up in case my phone is ever lost, stolen or damaged. It automatically backs up any changes to your contact list every day at the time of day you specify. After you download it and backup your contacts, your contact list is also available at the following link. https://ba.mightybackup.com For more info, you can get more info about it at the following link. http://www.getbackupnow.com/ |

A bunch of VZW employees announced it on HoFo last week. If you are signed up for "My Accounts" on the website, you will be able to use the backup assistant for free. I'm sure VZW will have some type of formal announcement soon.

| Banned | You know I remember back a while that I signed on to my account and then I had a survey popped up. In there I was asked what one feature would I like for free I chose backup assistant over everything else. Maybe there was alot of these done.

I just set it up. It says it will charge you $1.99 per month but if you have "My Account" access set up they will waive the $1.99 charge a month. You can find more information on "My Account" section "My Contacts". "My Contacts". For me, it is just to the right of the already existing "My Phone" section (with its NE2 meter). Verizon associated with the word FREE. Isn't that an oxymoron? LOL |

I just signed onto "My Account" on the Verizon Wireless website and next the NE2 meter is a new box that allows you to manager your contacts on your phone and schedule updates.....FOR FREE!!!!! I haven't played around with it yet but i guess this means no more $10 fee to transfer phone numbers when changing phones. |
