Default Sent Text Messages

Regarding sent text messages, there are symbols that indicate status. One is an envelope with a green arrow, another is an envelope with a black check. I looked them up in my manual, and the green arrow indicates a sent text, whereas the black check indicates a message delivered. My question: what's the difference between a sent text and a message delivered??

Default Re: Sent Text Messages

When sending TEXTS to other VZW customers, the phone actually lets you know when the text was delivered. A Sent text is just one that you send, but that doesn't mean that it has arrived its destination...the destination phone could be off or in a no service area that's why when it has the check by it(and there's also a status screen that shows you the exact time when the text was delivered to the handset).
HOpe this helps.

Arrow Re: Sent Text Messages

Actually a sent text message goes to what ever carrier u send it to through an aggregator if using software via PC and straight from your carrier if using your phone, Then it sets in cue until the phone is in the area or is turned back on so to get a message to someone in real time is unable to be controlled at the moment. It is a problem I would like to see addressed and any good programmer out there would make awealthy chunk of change to combat this problem. Any progs got any ideas?
