Verison in Northern AZ and NM???

Am needing to change service to a carrier with service in northern AZ -Flagstaff and Kingman, and Albuquerque area, but live in Metro Phoenix. Anyone know if Verizon has good coverage in these areas? Thx

Coverage is great......the only area that is lacking is around Lake
Powell and the Grand Canyon. But the area your talking about you will be very pleased!

Once you go south of Lake Powell VZW is dead in AZ same with south of 4 corners VZW is dead.

I think Verizon is lacking almost all of northern AZ

Tuba City (all but dead can pick up signal with 3 watt car phone)
Cedar Ridge (Dead)
Hopi Reservation (Dead)
Navajo Reservations (Most of them dead some you can work with 3 watt car phone)

Alltel or Smith Bagley seem to cover these areas fine

I agree with most that was said. At Lake Powell though I had much better experiences with VZW than ALLTEL, but VZW has a ton of dead spots in Northern AZ like Agenthibby pointed out.
