Question vcast and memory card

do you have to subscribe to vcast in order to use a memory card with music downloaded from your personal music library?

No...you have to first convert your phone to an MP3 player AND set up your play key on the front of the phone to a MP3 player (there are tons of directions throughout this site that could explain the step-by-steps much better than myself, so I won't post it here)...

Once you've done that, you first put the memory card into the phone and allow the phone to format the card. Once you do that, you can take it out and download any MP3-formatted file from your computer (personal music) onto the card. Put the card back into the phone and VÓILA! You have a personal MP3 player!

i currently have a lg vx8100. i am considering either the chocolate or lg vx8300. do you know of a link that actually detail how to format the phone / card for the lg vx8000 ; lg vx8300; chocolate.
