Default Customer Support Hints?

I've got a Motorola E815 that has not performed as well as it should have. It resets constantly, usually when texting or opening a video, but occasionally when making a call or hitting the Internet. I figure I've made one trip a month to Verizon tech support, and made at least half a dozen calls to phone customer support. They've replaced it once, but have refused to replace it again. They've "updated the firmware" three times, though the firmware number has not changed the last two times they've done it.

I'm honestly sick and tired of this phone. It has not aged well, as the formerly-tight seams in the plastic have loosened enough to let dirt in and the hinge is now loose and floppy...it now wobbles up and down and side to side. This past week, the bluetooth function died and it started dropping calls. I know with these issues I can get them to replace the phone...but I want a new model.

I have insurance on the headset and I've stayed current on my bill. What do I say or who do I talk to to get a different handset?

Default Re: Customer Support Hints?

I had the exact same problem! They have a policy which is if you exchange it three times (in a one month period), they'll exchange it for a phone of equal or lesser value. I tried that, and ran into some other problems. I switched.
