Hello, I just bought a new xv6700. I work in a building with poor coverage, and every time the phone goes in and out of service, it beeps. This is really annoying because it happens every minute or so. My quesiton is: does anyone know how to make it stop beeping? I went to "sounds and notifications", but finding service is not listed as an event associated with a notification. Turning the sound off for "warnings, system events" doesn't fix the problem. Turning the volume down on the device doesn't work either. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

Same thing was happening to me in the buildings at the university I attend. Go to the phone application. Click on menu, then options. Select the services tab. Select "Alert" then click "Get Settings" Select disable. |
