Seriously, tho, as long as my transflash card works, VZW isn't seeing a penny from me for ringtones.

Believe me, I could care less who's on that thing. For the sake of those who might be interested, I posted it. Verizon did the idiotic promo, not me. Besides, I hardly ever use GIN anyway.

I really don't care about ringtones. First of all, my phone is on vibrate only most of the time since not everyone I'm with needs to know when i'm receiving a Text or when someone is trying to call me. Second, I just want a ringtone to sound good and those ringtones I've heard people download just don't sound like the real thing to me, neither do they sound good to me.

My Timeport has the ability to get new ringtones.
Only problem is that it is not Get-it-NOW compatible so it can't download on VZW network. (I think it is to be done by bluetooth)

Yes it is, but is does not offer much and I don't use it.

IIRC, the T270c was Bluetooth capable via a backpack (or was it a dongle?), but the firmware VZW used on the T270c pretty much neutralized it.
