Default Ok this stumped everyone at the VZW store...

I brought my LG VX6000 with Verizon to the Dominican Republic and as soon as I got there, I tried sending a text message. It said the message failed. However, I was able to recieve text messages. When I got home, It still said the messages were failing to be sent. However, I found out all the messages I was sending in the DR were going through and the messages I send now go through. I took the phone to the store, they screwed with it, flashed it, software updated it, etc but no luck. It still says the messages failed. What happened? Did the Verizon Dominicana's network mess up my phone?

They did that, tech support said flashing the phone would do the trick, but it didn't...they tried it twice and no luck

I have never heard of that... if its in warrany try asking for a FRU (field replacment unit) phones have a 1 year warranty on it, if its a 6000 its probably out of warranty your best bet would be a new phone in that case... very odd tho sorry it happened if it cant be fixed =/

fast reply btw

Could it be a problem with SMS provisioning on your account rather than a handset problem?

he said he called tech support so i doubt it, they would of noticed if it wasnt provisioned correctly.

No, not that either. I am being billed for the texts I send. It's definatly a handset issue.

See if you can still get it exchanged for a FRU.
