LOL, well I'm going to give it a go with Verizon. My phone comes in tomorrow afternoon! I can hardly wait! Never thought I'd give Verizon a try but as long as I don't drop anymore calls or worse, CALL FAILED! |

Join the club. I took my Nokia 2128i up to Montreal recently and the phone displayed a full signal pretty much everywhere in Montreal. The lone exception was inside the Casino de Montreal, which was expected. The networks up there are 1900 MHz and it roamed on both Bell Mobility and Telus Mobility, depending on where I was in the city. Since the phone (up there) was able to receive a decent signal, I am now convinced that the problems I'm having with Verizon at present, are network-related, not with the phone. Verizon either has a capacity problem in my immediate area, or there are not enough cellsites to provide a strong signal. |

I'm considering switching from Sprint to Verizon, better coverage here in NYC. Guess if I want a toy to go along with my phone I'll pick up a PSP or the new Nintendo offering. |

So far so good. The call quality is AMAZING. So clear and I have full bars everywhere so far. We'll see how these couple of days go, but I think this might be a keeper.

FWIW, in Vermont (SID 300, Verizon) I was getting mostly between 3 and 5 bars along I-89 in the mountains. Being in the mountains, I would consider those signal levels, excellent. | |
