Default Video: Treo's Memory issue causing EVDO to be capped?

Woah, the Verizon forums, how did I get here! Anyway, here is something for all you verizon users out there!

Verizon and Palm have some significant issues.

Many of you are aware for the past 3 weeks I have been having some serious problems with the Verizon Treo 700w. The problem I am having is that the Treo 700w is hanging when I go to sync with my Exchange Server. I have been using a Sprint PPC-6700 recently and gave it a test. First of all NO exchange email problems to the same server along with 3-4 times faster than the Treo 700w.. This video says it all and I think Palm and Verizon need to explain why this is happening on the ever so popular Treo700w. Also users should note Verizon's EVDO is $44.95 and Sprint's EVDO is $15.00!!! We definitely deserve some sort of explanation.

Default Re: Video: Treo's Memory issue causing EVDO to be capped?

I would love to only pay $15 for evdo...but I wouldn't have EVDO or voice coverage I switched to Sprint...Of course I don't have EVDO with Verizon either...but do have 1x and good voice coverage.

I have two 6700's both with Verizon, my wife initially wanted the Treo 700, but we decided with all of the problems with the 600 and 650...and the Treo being a first effort from Palm, we would wait.

I also didn't really like the square screen, as we both use orb.com and divx videos on the phone. The square screen stretches the video out and distorts it, unless you shrink it down...and then why not just hold out for the Q.

I've been a Windows Mobile user since they had greyscale screens and were called "Palm Size PC's" So for the XV6700 is the best pda phone I've ever used.
