If anyone has been receiving calls from 888-366-0903 recently it is a telemarketing agency in Saint Petersburg Florida calling on behalf of Verizon Wireless. The rep offered to renew my contract to a new 2-year contract for the same price, even though my contract is not up until some time in July (which, as I understand it, would normally mean I could renew in May). I didn't trust that this was a legit deal so I declined the offer, but am going to keep an eye on my account just in case they decide to make changes to it anyway without my approval.

Has anyone else received calls from this company? If so, did you take their offer?

You did the right thing. I would never do business with anyone where I didn't initiate the call. BTW did they offer you upgraded phones? Otherwise what would be the advantage of upgrading now?

Actually, no - which was yet another reason I thought it was a shady deal. Were it an actual Verizon representative calling me, I have no doubt they would have offered a new phone (either free or at the reduced rate) in order to sweeten the deal.

Thats messed up that your getting telemarketing calls on your cell phone...I put my cell number on the national donotcall list...hopefully this will help some...

My cell phone is also on the National Do No Call list. Guess it doesn't do much! Their argument would most likely be that I already have a buisness relationship with Verizon Wireless, and since this marketing firm was representing them they would be exempt from the do not call list rules.

I've been receiving brief voicemails in Spanish on my T-Mobile, when I Googled the phone number it came from, there were three pages of results.
