THE HISTORY I have posted in this forum, over the past two months, that I was getting a much weaker than usual signal. It was reported to Verizon, who said it will be checked. As of today, they indicate that there is no problem, but admit others have compalined. Calls are not dropped, but voice breaks up to person that I call or call me. I mentioned in this forum, that on Sunday 3 weeks ago, the signal was back to normal and I thought that it was corrected, but the next day poor signal, again. QUESTION Anyone with advice, ideas or suggestions?

I don't know the history of what you've tried, but I can think of one thing. Try the carrier on the other side (A or B) whichever applies. For example, here in NC VZW is the A side carrier and Alltel is the B side carrier. I can do *22801 SEND to use Alltel on the Extended Network (aka free roaming). If VZW is the B side carrier in your area, you can use *22800 SEND to get to the A side carrier. If it's a roaming partner, and you get a better signal, you can try using them while at home. Another option is to try another carrier. |

i've read some of your post on your signal problem at home, you can force your phone to "cellular only" that might also give you better signal, similar to what Scottb recommends...
