Not only with the analog issue...but apparently Verizon will not let you activate a phone unless it's GPS compliant either. I tried to activate a older model temporarily for my step father while his was out of comission and it wouldn't let me so I called and they said no because they have to be GPS 911 compatible. just wanted to share that. |

kjo, in order for Verizon to make the extended deadline about having most/all of the phones on their network be GPS compliant, they will not let you activate a non GPS phone anymore. I don't think any carrier still does that anymore- they'd be stupid if they do.
