Tried getting it out of manner mode--no dice. Have turned it off, taken out battery... When I set volume on high--display says "set on high" but when back to main screen, it is still on vibrate. |

The button below the volume buttons controls which mode the phone is in. If you haven't already, hold this button iin for 2-3 seconds with teh flip closed. The external screen should then say "Silent". Press and hold the button again and it should switch to "normal". The key is to make sure the phone is closed.
