So Verizon likes to cripple their phone's natural born ability to transfer files over bluetooth. What is up with that? Does anybody have any experience with re-enabling these features on any of their phones? I am currently a Nextel customer and I am looking at switching to either Cingular, T-Mobile, or VZW. From what everybody says VZW has the best network quality in Southern Cali but having VZW lock out the ability to transfer files from your phone to your computer simply so that they can make a buck kinda sucks. |

Yes, it can be hacked with a little bit of time and computer knowlegde. There are plenty of guides online that tell you how to do it, depending on phone model.

OBEX is enabled on the new V3c? That's news to me but is great.
