Question Trying to get the most out of my contract negotiation..

I am a Verizon customer but have been out of contract for about a year, currently have a family share plan, 2 phones. Anywho, Corporate called me the other day to tell me my current plan is no longer being offered as it is old, and asked if I wanted to upgrade, yada, yada.. The rep said she could match anything that the website had to offer as far as plans, even better. She said that both lof my lines are eligible for new every 2. So, I am calling her back this week..the two phones that I want (lx 8100) are $149.99 on veriz.com, (199.99-50 rebate), plus my $100 for new every 2 should bring it down to $49.99 each. My question is, for those that might have 'worked the system'...how can I go about getting both phones for free or anything extra out of the deal? Basically, it was sounding like she was willing to do what she could to get me to go back under contract so I am trying to use this to my advantage.. What sparked this question was a post I just read about somoene that switches every 2 years to a different carrier to get a free phone and accessories which got me to thinking.... any ideas would be appreciated...

I guess you could politely tell her that she told you she'd do even better than the website had to offer, so tell her this is what the website has to offer and ask her what she has to offer. If she can't do a lot, tell her you'll stay out of contract and see if something better from another carrier comes along, then she'll probably give in.
Good luck, let us know!

Yeah the ball is in your court on this one because you are out of contract and you can use the power of saying "i will go somewhere else". So make sure and use that if you can.

Remember that the price you pay for service subsidizes the discounts on new phones. Not being under contract is only nice if you really need to be flexible. I'd be working to get the price on the vx8100 or e815 down.
